ServiceCostHub.com was built to solve a specific problem: cost information online is either too vague ("roofing costs $5,000 to $25,000") or too salesy (sites that give you a "free estimate" that's really just your phone number sold to contractors).
We use publicly available data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Bureau of Economic Analysis to generate cost estimates that are adjusted for where you actually live - because roofing in Hawaii genuinely costs 22% more than roofing in Alabama, and you deserve to know that before you call anyone.
For every service we cover, we maintain a calculator that lets you personalize an estimate based on your project size, quality preferences, and timing. The numbers update monthly when the BLS releases new CPI data.
ServiceCostHub.com earns revenue through display advertising and referral fees when you request contractor quotes. We only earn a referral fee if a contractor network accepts your lead - there's no cost to you, ever. Our cost data is not influenced by advertiser relationships. Read our full methodology.
